The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Missouri is a national leader in confronting the challenges of autism and other developmental conditions through its collaborative research, training and service. The Thompson Center offers autism diagnosis and treatment services, training for families and professionals and performs cutting-edge research to identify the causes of autism spectrum disorders and develop better interventions. As a part of the University of Missouri, the Thompson Center is home to some of the nation's foremost autism experts who serve as faculty in schools and colleges throughout the University. Under the tutelage of these faculty experts, the Thompson Center serves as an educational facility, training dozens of undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students every year.
