“Quite simply the best steak I have ever eaten in this country." The Observer \n\nWhen we started out we had a simple plan - to open the best steak restaurant in London. We travelled the world, from steakhouse to steakhouse, searching for the perfect steak, but discovered that beef from carefully reared cattle right here in Britain and cooked simply over real charcoal, packed more flavour than anything we tried on our travels. \n\nWe opened our first restaurant in Spitalfields in 2006, and after four years of trying to get that one as good as possible we then opened in Seven Dials, Guildhall, Air Street, Knightsbridge and Borough as well our first restaurants outside of London, in other cities that we love – Manchester and Edinburgh.\n\nWe are really excited that we’ll be opening a Hawksmoor in New York in 2020. We’ll be opening in a beautiful building between Madison Square Park and Gramercy Park. It’s an amazing National Historic Landmark built as The United Charities Building in 1893 with an incredible 10m ceilinged assembly hall that will be the main room for the restaurant. \n\nWe’re always on the lookout for talented, passionate people, so please do get in touch if you are interested in joining us. If you have the right to work in the US and in the UK please let us know when you contact us – we would love to hear from you. We try as hard as possible to create jobs that people enjoy and be a company where they can settle down and build a career. It seems to be working – people tend to stay with us for a really long time and we’re the only restaurant company to be in the Sunday Times list of the top 100 UK companies to work for eight years in a row. \n\nhttps://harri.com/hawksmoor\n\nSunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2012 – 2019\n\n#WorkSomewhereAwesome
