Annie's is a woman-owned and run nursery/laboratory/mad science experiment. We grow over 2500 varieties of plants in our never-ending quest for the exceptional. From humble beginnings as a backyard hobby 25 years ago, we have evolved into a 3 ½-acre "growing" nursery here in Richmond, CA. We grow our plants the old fashioned way - from seed - in the wind, rain and sun, so plants are "hardened off," healthy and strong. All plants are grown in 4" pots without the use of neonicotinoids or growth regulating hormones. We provide plants to about 60 independent Northern California retail nurseries and open our doors for retail shopping here at the mothership, 9-5, 7 days a week.
