The School of Legal Practice is a professional training center, non-profit, with its own entity, organic and functional autonomy, and the necessary degree of personification for compliance with their goals. It was created February 3rd, 1953, ratified by the existence of the Order of the Ministries of Education and Justice of September 30th, 1955 and regulated by the First and Final Transitory Provisions of Decree 3311/1970, of November 12th. The School of Legal Practice is protected and supervised by a Board of Trustees presided over by the rector of the Complutense University of Madrid and is composed of the Deans of the Illustrious Bar Associations and Attorneys of Madrid, by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Complutense University of Madrid and by representatives of the magistracy, the public prosecutor's office of the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid, the Ministry of Justice and the Faculty of Law of the Complutense University of Madrid. The faculty of the School of Legal Practice is formed by practicing lawyers, magistrates, prosecutors, Local Administration Secretaries, attorneys, tax inspectors, notaries, property registrars, lawyers of the Council of State and university professors, with extensive and accredited professional experience.
