AFX is a privately held, independent supplier of hand sewn leather and material parts to the automotive marketplace. Our plant, located in Matamoros Mexico, is focused on hand sewn leather operations for interior trim applications, specifically steering wheels, shift knobs, parking brake handles and other trim components. AFX is vertically integrated, starting with the import of leather exceeding customer requirements, to pattern development, to die cutting, to leather wrap through component assembly for direct OEM shipment. AFX has the ability and desire to supply die cut/machine sewn leather for seating and other applications. AFX has significant experience in the hand sew industry. All of our management staff has prior experience in leather wrap ranging from 5 to 25 years, with an average of 14 years.
