We are located in Livonia, Michigan with branches in Kalamazoo and Brownstown. Bearing Service, Inc. was established in 1943 by Herbert Mann, a former executive of the Ahlberg Bearing Company. Mr. Mann recognized the declining role of ball bearing re-manufacturers, such as Ahlberg, as an opportunity for distributors of new bearings. For over 25 years, the Company operated successfully from a single, centralized location in Detroit, selling a variety of bearings and related products. The company is now an independently owned and operated third-generation multi-branch distributor of bearings and power transmission products.
