About
Tufts Investment Banking Club (\TIBC\) is a selective finance club, and its core mission is to build a source of investment banking talent at Tufts. It is led by upperclassmen, who have gone through the investment banking recruiting process and landed IB jobs, who want to pass down their knowledge to their fellow Tufts students.\n\nThe club's designed curriculum introduces its members to the core principles of investment banking as well as the nuances of the industry. Through rigorous preparation, TIBC members gain the knowledge necessary to land competitive internships and full-time analyst positions.\n\nMaterial being covered this year includes Accounting, Valuation, DCF, LBO, Merger Models, and Restructuring concepts. There is also a focus on macro-financial trends and developing proficiency in Microsoft Office.\n\nIn the past 2 years, our students have placed at: Aeris Partners, Barclays, Centerview Partners, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, Evercore, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim, JP Morgan, Lazard, Moelis, Morgan Stanley, Piper Sandler, PJT, Rothschild & Co, Solomon Partners, Wells Fargo and more.\n\nOur sophomore cohort this year consists of 26 members. Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] to learn more about us or for a resume book highlighting our members.
