Hurricane Express is family owned and operated. We have been in business since 1988. We have been incorporated and operating under our own DOT authority since 1992. We have 250 power units and 275 trailers. The majority of our drivers are lease operators, but we also have local, regional, super regional and OTR company positions. Hurricane Express provides premium equipment and premium service in the refrigerated freight markets from coast to coast. We specialize in transporting produce, poultry and seafood. Hurricane Express has a driver-centric culture where we recognize and reward our drivers and offer them equipment and amenities that can only be found here. Hurricane Express vision is to grow to 250 power units in 2019 and 350 power units by 2020.
