Tau Kappa Epsilon (ΤΚΕ or Teke, pronounced T-K-E or Tēk) is a college fraternity founded on January 10, 1899, at Illinois Wesleyan University, with over 250 active chapters in the United States and Canada.\r\n\r\nThe Fraternity has over 272,000 initiated members, and more than 11,200 active collegiate members and 1,600 volunteers.
