Our mission is to provide foster children with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) and at-risk youth with dedicated mentors, creating a bridge between the most vulnerable in our community and caring volunteers who want to help.
Through our CASA Program, Child Advocates of Placer County works to ensure local foster children are provided a trained, court appointed volunteer to act in their best interest. Volunteers are paired with a foster child and advocate, investigate, mentor and report on their behalf. Volunteers stay with a child through multiple placements, difficult transitions, the bad times and the good times. Further, they become the eyes and ears of the judge who will make critical decisions regarding the child.
