This has been done to further drive the business forward in terms of growth and profitability. The company sees each of its cinemas playing a key role in the communities where they are located. Local people who feel they have some ‘ownership' or feel some ‘attachment' to local cinemas tend to be incredibly loyal, more frequent visitors and less focused on pure price, all of which are good for developing and building a profitable long term business. REEL seek to build meaningful relationships with local people through being seen to listen and respond to their needs, offering good value and by supporting schools, local charities and community groups. Our teams in each cinema play an important role in amplifying and delivering our core brand values. The company firmly believes in being innovative and has a pipeline on new concepts due to be rolled out in 2014. REEL are generally mainstream in terms of the films and other content offered but will programme each cinema for its local demographic. No other cinema company in the UK have taken this position so closely to heart and built a proposition around it.
