Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C. has a long and prosperous history. Walt Dalby joined the national accounting firm of Ernst & Ernst in 1936 after receiving a masters degree from the University of Colorado. His 'territory' was the entire western slope and he eventually established an office in Grand Junction. In 1948, Walt left Ernst & Ernst and established his own practice. Wes Wendland joined Walt in 1955. In addition to the Grand Junction office, Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C. opened an office in Glenwood Springs in 1968 and one in Montrose in 1974.
