Handelsbanken continued to have high ratings from all three. Moody’s raised Handelsbanken’s credit rating one notch to Aa2. Fitch confirmed that Handelsbanken retains its long-term AA- credit rating. Standard & Poor’s announced that Handelsbanken retains its long-term AA- credit rating. Overall, Handelsbanken is the Nordic bank with the highest credit rating of all banks.
