Established in 1970 Dundalk Institute of Technology is the primary higher education institution located in the northeast of Ireland. The Institute is made up of four schools - Business and Humanities, Engineering, Informatics & Creative Arts and Health & Science. The Institute has an enrolment of approximately 5000 full-time and part-time students. The main Institute website is www.dkit.ie. The Lifelong Learning Centre is part of Dundalk IT's School of Business and Humanities and develops and co-ordinates the Institute's flexible part-time professional development and lifelong learning programmes.
