In the early years, Keri Systems designed and sold stand-alone single door-only card access control systems. Keri now manufactures card access control systems for managing 1 to 256 doors at a single site and thousands of doors over multiple sites, specializing in proximity technology, but also with the ability to use any Wiegand™ card reader technology. A proximity reader-based system from Keri typically costs 50% less than proximity reader-based systems from other popular suppliers.
Keri's new PXL-500 Tiger Controller platform has made these cost savings possible. Loaded with high tech features like multiple RISC-based microprocessors, plug and play functionality, and on-board diagnostics, the Tiger system not only costs less from an equipment standpoint, it saves on the total installed cost of an access control system project because of the great installer features built in. Your system can be expanded one or two doors at a time as needed, and each controller maintains 100% fully distributed intelligence.
Keri's card reader expertise is proximity, now considered the technology of choice by end users everywhere. The MS Series Proximity Readers, for use exclusively on Keri Controllers, combine superior performance and low cost in small, sleek attractive packages. Keri offers three proximity card/tag styles, including the smallest and most durable key ring tag available. All Keri proximity products (except the Multi Technology cards) carry a lifetime warranty. For those customers who require something other than Keri proximity, the PXL-250 Tiger Controller also interfaces with Wiegand™ reader technologies.
The system is managed by the critically acclaimed Doors™ for use with Windows™ program, which is unparalleled in terms of ease of use and will continue to grow in functionality. Doors has all the sophistication you need, but is designed to be used by real people, not rocket scientists. A dedicated computer is not required, and in fact the PC does not need to be online for system operation.
Keri will continue its pursuit of technological and market leadership with the introduction of more exciting new access control system products and proximity readers as well as enhancements to existing products.
