UHEAA is a Utah state government agency and part of the Utah System of Higher Education. It acts under authority delegated by the Utah State Board of Regents and is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors and Utah’s Commissioner of Higher Education.\n\nThrough its CornerStone Education Loan Services program UHEAA administers student loans originated under the U.S. Department of Education’s William D. Ford Direct Loan Program and Federal Family Education Loan Program. UHEAA’s Repay Centsibly program provides financial aid literacy, loan repayment assistance, and default prevention services to students and schools. Since 1976, UHEAA’s focus has been to help Utah students and their families plan, prepare, and pay for college and it has sponsored a variety of community outreach programs across Utah to accomplish this mission.\n\nOur Mission: We guide families through the financing of higher education. We teach students to save for education, pursue scholarships and grants, and borrow sensibly. We provide conscientious, personal service to borrowers and promote responsible repayment. Student success in financing and completing their educational goals fulfills our mission.\n\nOur Vision: Our vision is to provide the best student loan experience anywhere and to improve the quality of life for Utahns by removing financial barriers to higher education.\n\nOur Guiding Principles: Integrity, Diligence, Customer focus, Collaboration, Knowledge, Self discipline, and Resourcefulness.
