The artists who painted “Same Sun” — also known as Davis’ east area water tank — hope it tells passersby that Davis is about more than cows and bicycles. Last week, Sofia Lacin, 27, and Hennessy Christophel, 26, spoke passionately about their work and the upcoming Summer Soltice SUNday tours they will be giving. Part of their passion for the water tank is related to the fact that it is their first-ever public art project.
