Windermere is one of the largest and oldest independent community service organisation in Melbourne's South-East. Today we service the entire Southern Metropolitan to Gippsland serving a population of over 1.5 million people. Windermere's innovative support services and programs provide opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our community to build resilience and feel connected with their community. We work with children, families and individuals who are dealing with issues such as physical, emotional and practical support, counselling, advice, education, advocacy and other therapeutic interventions to those affected by these issues. We also provide quality childcare in the home as an affordable alternative to long day care centre and in-home care for families with high needs.
