Tiger Fuel Company was established in August, 1982. It began its evolution with the purchase of an Exxon-branded petroleum distributor in Charlottesville, Virginia. In the ensuing years, Tiger Fuel Company continued to expand, building modern facilities for retail gasoline, car washes, and convenience food products as well as home heating oil and propane gas products. Tiger Fuel Company was growing into a complete energy provider for Central Virginia. In 1990, Tiger Fuel Company expanded once again and opened another office in Lovingston, Virginia, located in beautiful Nelson County.
