Privately-held Modern Silicone Technologies, Inc. has been a leading contract manufacturer of high-tech, molded automotive gaskets for major aftermarket brands and OEMs since 1994. Launched in 2012, Magnum Gaskets (magnumgaskets.com) is the Automotive Aftermarket brand of MSi. Magnum covers upwards of 200,000 make-year-model vehicle applications and is distributed through hundreds of outlets across North America. The introduction of the Magnum Gaskets line allowed MSi to bypass international corporate middlemen and better serve the aftermarket directly. This coincided with MSi's move to a larger manufacturing facility in Pinellas Park, FL with operations expanding into laser and die cutting, metal forming, precision coatings and complex kitting and packaging. Magnum Gaskets covers domestic and import cars and light duty trucks from 1955 to the present with premium quality designs and materials. For example, MaxDry STL intake manifold gaskets feature a high temperature fluoroelastomer sealing bead precision molded on a steel carrier to resist chemical attack from degraded OAT coolant. Magnum Gaskets is also the leader in manufacturing gaskets for the increasingly popular light and medium duty diesel trucks. Fuel injection connectors and wiring harnesses are now an integral part of Magnum diesel valve cover gaskets for Dodge Ram and Ford Powerstroke engines. The "Magnum Performance Gaskets" brand was introduced in 2014 with unique offerings for Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler racing and street performance engines.
