The Animal Referral Hospital aims to provide veterinarians and their patients with the highest possible standards of veterinary care. We have two state of the art facilities, and specialists who are internationally recognised in their fields. Our nursing staff are dedicated to the care and wellbeing of pets in the hospital. Our staff are all devoted pet owners themselves, and pets are treated as our own, with every effort made to make their stay as comfortable as possible. At nigh, weekends and public hoildays the hospital is staffed by experienced vets and nurses who constantly communicate with our specialists. The same staff provide an "out of hours" service to clients of other vets throughout Sydney, to provide emergency treatment for their patients and overnight monitoring of critical cases. Our emergency service staffs our ICU at night, and deals with problems such as heart failure, patients hit by car, gastric dilation and volvulus (GDV or bloat), seizures and poisonings.
