Touch of Color Flooring was founded in the summer of 2002 when two high school friends, Scott Appel & Bill Hamad, got together with a dream and a plan. What they lacked in experience they made up for in hard work and determination. Before too long they started to pick up momentum and needed some extra help, so Bill’s brother Joe Hamad joined team TOC as well, and the rest was history. The trio worked long and hard, and from the beginning, their goal was to become the best flooring company in Central Pennsylvania. They started with founding principles that still hold true to this day-treat others as you would like to be treated, provide obsessive customer service, and always look for a win-win. Fast forward to today, Touch of Color Flooring employs 160+ people and has 9 locations comprising of 2 retail stores, 4 commercial locations, and 3 design centers, with total geographic reach across 7 states throughout the Northeast & Mid Atlantic.
