The joint-venture was formed to develop a portfolio of offshore wind projects within a New Jersey Wind Energy Lease Area. The projects, once developed, will help meet New Jersey and New York's ambitious clean energy goals. Together, EDF Renewables and Shell have years of technical, operational and commercial energy experience needed to develop an offshore wind project of this scale.
