X-energy is developing Generation IV high temperature gas-cooled reactors and the fuel to power these reactors. Our innovative solution will deliver energy that is clean, safe, secure and affordable. Founded in 2009 by Dr. Kam Ghaffarian, X-energy is developing high-temperature gas-cooled pebble-bed nuclear reactors that are smaller, simpler and meltdown-proof when compared to conventional nuclear designs.
