It was that year that my grandfather, Clayton Marcus Teague, started a furniture company that made quality-upholstered furniture by hand. His company was a great success and steadily grew over the years. My father, Donny Teague, learned about designing and building furniture while working there. When it came time for my grandfather to retire, he sold his company and in 1985 my father started Huntington House. Danny Meadlock is my father's partner and cofounder of Huntington House. Danny, like his father, had spent many years in the furniture industry before starting Huntington House. Danny's experience in the various aspects of making furniture gave him the background he needed to serve as Vice-president of Operations in a newly formed company. There were only a few employees working for the company in the early days. They made great furniture and often worked long hours to meet customer needs. From humble beginnings in a five thousand square foot building, our company has grown over the years. Today our team of over 150 people works together in our newly completed one hundred thousand square foot facility. As our company continues to grow at over twenty percent a year, we are already planning our next expansion
