CompTIA Tech Career Academy is a nonprofit subsidiary of Creating IT Futures, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Creating IT Futures, in turn, is a subsidiary of the nonprofit, international tech trade association, CompTIA, headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Our mission is to unlock people’s potential by helping them launch and grow their careers in information technology.
As a non-profit, we prepare adults for success in IT jobs to address an industry shortage of skilled IT professionals, a shortage noted by the National Science Foundation. Our sole motivation is to help students land and thrive in IT jobs in order to grow the tech workforce.
Creating IT Futures Foundation is a private vocational institution that is approved to operate the IT-Ready Technical Support program by the Private Business and Vocational Schools Division of the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Creating IT Futures Foundation also is licensed as a private career school with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, sections 136A.821 to 136A.832. Licensure is not an endorsement of the institution. Credits earned at the institution may not transfer to all other institutions. Creating IT Futures' CompTIA Tech Career Academy is not accredited by an accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
