Stationary air compressors are used in manufacturing, process applications and materials handling and to power air tools and equipment. Blowers are used primarily in pneumatic conveying, wastewater aeration and engineered vacuum systems. The Company is also a manufacturer of pumps used in oil and natural gas production, well-servicing and drilling and water-jetting systems. The Company's business of manufacturing industrial and petroleum equipment began in 1859, when it redesigned the fly-ball governor to provide speed control for steam engines.
