We have significant experience in these areas and concentrate on what we know best. Since its inception in 1963, First Florida has built over 6,000 housing units, 1,400 restaurants and 2,000 hotel rooms. The owners and officers of First Florida maintain a scale of operations that enables us to be involved in all aspects of our client relationships. We personally negotiate, estimate, subcontract and inspect each construction project. This philosophy allows for tighter controls and better interaction with clients and subcontractors. It also allows us to enjoy the creative process and results in completed projects of a higher quality with fewer problems along the way. First Florida performs negotiated work and hard bid projects. Although purposely modest in size, First Florida has not sacrificed sophistication or technology. We use the latest in scheduling, estimating and job reporting software.
