Since 1973 Silver Lake Auto & Tire Center has been Waukesha County's destination for all things auto repair, towing and tires. In 1973 Wally Garlock opened Silver Lake Shell, a two bay gas station in downtown Oconomowoc. Over the past 40+ years a lot has changed, but our focus on customer and employee experience has not. Today, Silver Lake Auto Center & Tire Centers is owned by Wally's two sons Dan & Darren Garlock. Over the past 40+ years we have seen substantial growth to two 7 bay locations, one in Oconomowoc and a second opened in 2013 in Hartland. More recently, we have expanded with shops in Brookfield and New Berlin as well.
