The Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles is a unique and significant collaboration of 10 member agencies that have been serving communities across Los Angeles County for more than 40 years. Formed in 1997, the Child Care Alliance works to ensure that parents and families experience seamless delivery of high quality, affordable, accessible early care and education services. The agencies are multi-faceted, but all are strongly rooted in and connected to their surrounding communities, possess the cultural competencies to work effectively with the diverse populations they serve, and have well-established relationships with a very large network of local ECE providers.
The impact of the Child Care Alliance is significant, reaching 10,000 licensed child care providers and 9,000 license exempt providers, serving over 40,000 children through the management of publicly-funded child care subsidies, and annually processing 37,000 requests for child care referrals and 28,000 requests for information about other ECE resources.
The Mission Statement of the Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles is to work together to strengthen families and ensure high quality child care and early learning across Los Angeles County.
