Since 1945, Millerbernd Manufacturing Company has provided innovative solutions for the steel fabrication industry. Millerbernd started by rebuilding industrial equipment and manufacturing machinery. Then, during World War II, the company began contracting to fabricate components used in portable electric generators. Millerbernd designed and built most of its own unique rings and cylinders with precise roundness and high metallic integrity. In 1946, Millerbernd took this technology and began to explore innovative uses of steel for lighting structures. It started with lighting towers and has gone on to develop freestanding light poles up to 200' in height. The selection of poles manufactured at Millerbernd has expanded to include: street lighting poles, floodlighting poles, decorative lighting poles, high mast lighting poles, traffic signal poles, aircraft beacon towers, cellular telephone towers, heavy-duty hinged camera poles and monopole communication towers. From the beginning, Millerbernd has used the best materials and most advanced construction techniques to produce quality light standards that are the finest in the industry. Millerbernd's unique manufacturing and design capabilities allow for a large variety of standard lighting poles and the flexibility to build custom poles to your specifications.
