About
Oregon Community Programs is a private nonprofit agency that has provided research-based treatment and prevention services and programs to children, youth, and families since 1983. We conduct Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care (MTFC) programs, provide intensive home-based services, and consult with communities and agencies wishing to implement MTFC. Prior to 1994, OCP was a division of the Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC), which is a private nonprofit research group supported by federally-funded grants from agencies such as the National Institute of Mental Health, and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. In July of 2015, we changed our name to Oregon Community Programs to better represent the focus of our work on supporting Oregon communities’ families. We, as an organization, will continue our work using evidence-based treatment services and support for foster families and outpatient mental health treatment, including use of our internationally recognized Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care (MTFC) program.
