Established in 1976, Lomar's first products were cable assembly machines, cut-off machines, and perishable tooling. Operating out of a 3,000- square-foot facility in North Adams, Michigan, the business grew larger than the building could hold. So, Lomar’s owner, Jim Geisman, found a former screw machine shop in nearby Horton, Michigan, to accommodate growth. And grow the company did. This building, plant one, has undergone seven expansions since the late 1970s.
