About
The Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC) was created pursuant to Article VI, Section 16 of the Illinois Constitution to assist the Supreme Court with its general administrative and supervisory authority over all Illinois courts. Appointed by the Supreme Court, the Administrative Director leads the AOIC and its staff. The AOIC provides support and programming to courts statewide through its eight divisions, Administrative Services, Civil Justice, Court Services, Courts, Children and Family, Human Resources, Judicial Education, Judicial Management Information Services, and Probation Services.
