This process can take many forms, from identifying the key issues that need to be addressed to formulating messages in compelling ways that differentiate the company and clearly communicate its sustainable value proposition. While we work in partnership with our clients, our value extends beyond our communications expertise. Bringing a fresh perspective to a client’s overall communications needs, we can challenge the status quo objectively and constructively. However, communications is more than formulating key messages. The client’s story must be told in a voice that will be credible and relevant to key stakeholders, whether they are customers, partners, investors, regulators or employees. We build our strategies and stories on words and concepts, some of which may be intangible. But the metrics for our mutual success are fully tangible. We deliver quantifiable results that demonstrate how our communications efforts have helped the client conduct its business more successfully. This takes different forms for different clients. It might mean increasing in-store sales by 40 percent in target markets, generating key trade coverage that secures the next round of financing or seals a strategic partnership, or handling a downsizing in a manner that preserves a company’s good reputation with its employees, investors and customers.
