The nonpartisan Chicago Project on Security and Threats (CPOST) is a focal point for scholarly research that advances peace and prosperity. CPOST conducts rigorous, data-driven research, strengthens world-class education for future professionals and communicates knowledge among policy makers, scholars and the public.
Our faculty and research teams conducts focused and cross-disciplinary research on international politics, security, and trade. Many of our projects build on large-scale, student-supported, faculty-led research teams, critical to the collection and analysis of major quantitative, experimental and qualitative information.
