The Ford Plantation is a private coastal sporting community set along Georgia's coast, just south of Savannah on the Ogeechee River.
With a rich history dating back to 1734, this property was once a productive rice plantation and later a winter retreat for Henry Ford. Today it is a private sporting club with Low Country-inspired residences situated on 1,800 majestic acres. Shaded by ancient oaks with deep water frontage on the Ogeechee River, only 400 owners will have the privilege of calling The Ford Plantation home. We offer homesites from $100,000 to over $2 million and homes from $575,000 to over $4 million.
A multigenerational membership structure offers members and their families access to a wealth of activities including golf on our Pete Dye course (which he calls arguably my finest southern design), equestrian, fishing, boating, racquet sports, swimming, sporting clays, hiking, biking, wellness services, and fitness training.
The club also offers superb regional cuisine in its full service dining facilities, a full complement of luxurious spa services, a resident naturalist, and licensed professional hunting and fishing guides in our Outdoor Pursuits Department.
