Ten Sixteen Recovery Network has a proud history of providing services to people impacted by substance use disorders. A private, non-profit agency, Ten Sixteen started in Midland in 1979. The inspiration for the name came from the sheriff. At the time, law enforcement used "ten codes" over the radio. A "10-16" meant there was an open door at the scene. This new program had that same number as their street address.
