Colonial Pipeline is an interstate carrier of petroleum products. The company delivers about 95 million gallons of gasoline, diesel, home heating oil, aviation, and military fuels per day to cities and businesses across the Eastern US. The 5,519-mile Colonial system transports these fuels from Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, to 267 marketing terminals near major population centers in the Southeast and along the Eastern Seaboard. The company has shipper terminals in 12 states and the District of Columbia. Colonial Pipeline is owned by a consortium of energy companies, including Koch, Shell, and CITGO.
