IXYS's power semiconductors convert electricity at relatively high voltage and current levels to create efficient power as required by a specific application. The Company's power semiconductor products have historically been divided into two primary categories, power metal-oxide semiconductor transistors and bipolar products. Its power semiconductors are sold separately and are also packaged in high-power modules that frequently consist of multiple semiconductor dies.
