Formed in 1973, Dominion Constructors is a well-established, privately owned construction company offering construction solutions to all sectors of the industry as the main contractor, a lead subcontractor or in a partnership role. Dominion’s contribution to a project extends beyond the physical construction, with capabilities in all areas of project management. Having worked under varying contract types, including Total GMP, Lump Sum/Fixed Price, Cost Plus/Open Book and Collaborative Agreements, Dominion aims to meet client needs in terms of quality and timely construction, offering potential cost savings and design advice where appropriate. With diversity across all sectors, Dominion is recognised for providing total performance with the ability to work in operational areas and the public sector. Based in Auckland and with a growing presence in Christchurch and other areas of the country, Dominion is one of the industry’s largest employers. The high calibre of employees, numbering over 200, allows projects to be predominantly resourced in house ensuring a high level of quality control.
