JVC Broadcasting was incorporated in November 2008 and closed on the\r\npurchase of WPTY and WBON on October 1, 2009\r\n\r\nWPTY broadcasts on main facility is on 105.3. The station is a dance/Top 40 mix with superstar celebrity DJ’s Vic Latino and Goumba Johnny\r\n\r\nWBON broadcasting on 98.5 serves all of Suffolk County Long Island and is one of the top\r\nSpanish stations in the Bridgeport, New Haven market. \r\n\r\nWRCN is Long Island’s only true Classic Rock station with a rock music library of over 28,000 songs and\r\nworld famous music anthologist, Denis McNamara\r\n\r\nWJVC, My Country 96.1 is the only Country Music station in the NY DMA and is Long Island source for news from\r\nNashville, new Country music and Classic Country as well.\r\n\r\nIn March of 2012, the Brookhaven Town Board approved a five year agreement with Long Island Events, the event division of JVC Broadcasting to produce, manage and operate the Brookhaven Amphitheater now know as the Pennysaver Amphitheater a 7000 person outdoor concert/entertainment venue.\r\n\r\nJVC Broadcasting is John Caracciolo and Victor J Canales (Vic Latino). The two have over 35 years of\r\nradio experience between them. They have been doing business on Long Island for over 20 years. What they have created on Long Island is a company that reaches consumers through radio, social medial, large on site events and very unique formats that give them the ability to successfully communicate to a highly desirable consumer at a fraction of the price of traditional marketing
