About
The Queensland Audit Office, led by the Auditor-General, is the independent auditor of the Queensland public sector. We conduct financial audits and performance audits to provide public confidence in the reliability of public sector entity financial statements and operating performance. These audits result in reports to parliament, and provide recommendations to entities on how they can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public services. Our vision is for better public services for Queenslanders and our purpose is independent assurance and trusted advice. Through collaboration and engagement, we serve the parliament and the public of Queensland, public sector entities, and local governments. Our values of engage, challenge, deliver and care underpin how we work with our wide range of stakeholders and clients.
