Lifelines Counseling Services (formerly Family Counseling Center of Mobile, inc.) is a comprehensive non-profit human services agency offering several programs in Southwest Alabama. Our programs touch the lives of our community through professional counseling, crisis intervention, and education and prevention services. At Lifelines, we CARE. Through Counseling, Assistance, Referrals and Education, it is our goal to provide Real Solutions for Real Problems that are experienced as a part of daily living.
The Family Counseling Center offers a variety of programs to help people through a number of problems. Our innovative program for divorcing parents provides in-depth techniques for successfully moving their families through the transition of separation and divorce. Counseling helps individuals overcome marital discord, divorce, parent-child conflicts, death of a loved one, a family member suffering from chronic illness, domestic violence or drug and alcohol abuse.
Consumer Credit Counseling Service provides consumers in Southwest Alabama with assistance in managing personal finances, both preventive - for those wanting to avoid serious financial problems and rehabilitative - for those who are experiencing financial problems:

The Rape Crisis Center serves victims of sexual assault and their families in Mobile, Clarke and Washington counties. Our services are provided on a 24 / 7 basis to victims at local hospitals and through our crisis line.
The United Way 2-1-1 line offers resources for those in need. From emergency situations to the beginning of a long-term program, the HelpLine connects and directs you to the right channels to get you back on your feet.
