Founded in 1980, CPI is a public company listed on the American Stock Exchange (CVU). Today, CPI occupies a 40,000 square foot facility located in Edgewood, New York. While CPI Aerostructures is classified as a small business, we provide customer services which combine the capabilities typically provided by large contractors with the flexibility and responsiveness of a small subcontractor. These services include Program Management/Integration, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Design/Fabrication, Subcontract/Logistics Management, Data Management, Configuration Control, Final Assembly/Test, customer acceptance and packaging/shipping. As such, CPI considers itself to be a "mini" prime contractor. Although our core competency is program management and integration, our greatest strength is our technical expertise relative to complex as well as simple aircraft structures. This is especially true when the company provides replacement parts for older aircraft. CPI has successfully produced and delivered assemblies ranging from simple skin panels to leading edges, flight control surfaces, engine components, wing tips, cowl doors, nacelle assemblies and inlet assemblies for military aircraft such as C-5A, C-130, C-141, T-38, A-10, KC-135, B-52, F-14 and B1-B. The company has also produced major pylon and nacelle structures and engine mount fittings for commercial aircraft including the Boeing 757, MD-11, MD-90, Lear 60 and Astra Galaxy.CPI Aerostructures Address
