HomeBase is a non-profit, public policy law firm that works with communities to develop effective and humane responses to homelessness. Our work is multi-faceted, including research, model policy and program development, community-level planning, advocacy, and public education. Focusing on solutions to both systemic and personal causes of homelessness, our work includes:expanding options for affordable housingenhancing economic self-sufficiency through access to living wage employment or benefits programsremoving barriers to key support services, including health and mental health care, child care and drug and alcohol treatmentworking to create better coordination and efficiency within the overall service systemAll of HomeBase's work is community-driven and inclusive, involving all those with a stake in the issue.
