About
Service Coordination, Inc. is a private, nonprofit organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, those with mental health challenges, the elderly, transitioning youth, and court-involved individuals throughout Maryland. Service Coordination provides support to adults and children by connecting them with needed resources and services in their communities. With over 250 employees in 13 offices in 9 counties plus Baltimore City, Service Coordination serves almost 13,000 people around the state. CHANGES ARE COMING TO RESOURCE COORDINATION IN MARYLAND There will be some changes to resource coordination for people in Maryland who receive services from our organization and other resource coordination agencies funded by the state Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). People getting this service will have the opportunity to choose who provides resource/service coordination services from several choices of resource coordination providers. As we have done since 1982, Service Coordination, Inc. continues to provide resource coordination services to nearly 13,000 people in Maryland. We will keep you informed as we learn more about the upcoming changes. The most updated information can be found through the DDA’s website at www.ddamaryland.org or by calling Carolyn Smith at DDA at 410-767-5600. THE SERVICE COORDINATION IMPACT FUND The Service Coordination Impact fund will provide small grants to individuals throughout Maryland to help pay for needed services and resources in their communities.
