Bridging Generations through Volunteer Services The mission of Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay, Inc. is to provide solutions to community challenges by engaging volunteers aged 55+. When you Volunteer in one of our Programs, you receive the following and so much more: * Engagement in your community * Sharing your talents * Creating new interests * Socializing with like-minded Volunteers * Helping teachers and school staff * Helping family members and loved ones * Customized training * Active lifestyle * Choosing your own schedule * Appreciation and recognition * Personal growth and fulfillment Annually, our Volunteers achieve the following successes: * Provide over 280,000 hours of Volunteer Community Service * Impact Lives of 2,000+ children who are at-risk or have special needs * Help children who are struggling in school to achieve success * Prolong the independence of nearly 500 frail, homebound elderly individuals * Represent community on elder issues, senior service needs, senior demographics and impact of the aging population of 79 million baby boomers!
