Teachers Health is a not-for-profit health fund exclusively for members of the education community, and their families. We were created by teachers (for teachers) over 60 years ago and are now the largest industry-based health fund in Australia, looking after over 330,000 people. Today, our members include teachers, administration and support staff working in public, private and independent primary and secondary schools, as well as tertiary education. Membership is also open to families of eligible members. Our mission To inspire and support our members to achieve their best possible health outcomes. Health management programs Were committed to supporting our members health and wellbeing and offer quality, evidence-based health management programs and services at no extra cost. Teachers Health Centres We operate five Teachers Health Centres (in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia) offering state-of-the-art optical and dental services. Physio, chiro and remedial massage therapies are also available at selected centres.
