Since 1926, Easter Seals Wisconsin has been creating life-changing solutions for individuals with disabilities and their families. Whether providing recreational opportunities for children, respite care for families, helping farmers continue to farm after a disabling accident or illness, or helping children and adults with disabilities gain greater independence in everyday living, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to address life's challenges and to help individuals achieve personal goals. Our mission is to increase independence, maximize opportunities, minimize barriers, and enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. We are proud to create innovative programs to address the needs of increasingly diverse populations. Our primary programs include: -Camp Wawbeek -FARM Program -Wisconsin Elks/Easter Seals Respite Camp -Self-Employment Services -Avenues to Understanding -Disability Helpline of Outagamie County -Donation Center -Caring Network To keep the public informed of our programs and services as well as activities and special events being held around the state, Easter Seals Wisconsin publishes Independence (formerly Network News) our agency newsletter, biannually.
